Home is where your 35mm film canister is!

Moved a flower pot out on the studio patio and found this. It's a hermit crab that has taken an old film canister as his home.

There are a lot of hermit crabs around. I found one in a cyclone fence post top piece, now this.

Looked out one day and saw one of my big white spindle shells that I was going to use on a mirror, moving across the patio. It was just walking away. I chased it down, but then decided to just let him have it. I could just see him showing off his big new home to all his hermit buddies.
